I could, but the dubbed episodes are TV rips which are pretty low quality online. Also my download speed gets reduced pretty often.

I really don't like reading while I watch something.

Now if I knew more about video editing I'd rip the audio and add it to a raw Japanese video.

    Convert FLV to mp3?

Add that mp3 to a raw Japanese episode in Windows movie maker?

That's so simple even I can do that.

Another problem would be syncing, when an episode is aired on TV certain areas are cut out to make it take less time so they can put commercials in. Whereas the high quality raw JP vids are ripped from DVDs and are full length..

I'd have to agree. I've already downloaded five series from them. (Clannad; Code Geass; Hayate no Gotoku; Shakugan no Shana; and Toaru Majutsu no Index) They're pretty good and have the reputable download speed to boot.

There's just one problem though. There's the JASRAC and the US strict copyright issues. Licensing has always been a problem for torrent-based downloads regarding anime.

Just look at this and see:
Kadokawa USA Orders Halt on Fansub Links for 11 Anime

And that's just Kadokawa USA. Funimation has also taken a step with regards to another anime, Shikabane Hime, by producing their own subs and streaming it. Luckily, subbers haven't stopped subbing. The only problem though would be for how long would the subbing teams continue.

    This is the Internet.

(Almost) Everyone breaks every copyright law in the US.
Since the Internet is big, there's a small small chance that you're gonna get busted for anything unless the company who actually makes the stuff finds you. And even at that they wouldn't care much, they care about the distributors.

Look at the MGM vs Grokster issue, I don't see any users prosecuted in there. Only the developers.

True, since the only instance that the users were sued was in Singapore. Look at the last paragraph involving Singapore. Probably we shouldn't worry too much.

I think that's there's some act or law preventing users from getting prosecuted.

They aren't really using an "illegal" program to get anything, since all of the torrents programs have legal uses. Like LimeWire and uTorrent, they can be used for legal purposes (I.E. Download a fan-made pic(It's probably porn but it doesn't matter. It's legal(As long as it isn't CP)))
